When the standard report is not the answer

Most of our work runs on proven instruments and standard reporting. Some questions need more: a custom scoring model, a report written for a specific decision, or a complete assessment product operating under someone else's brand.

That is the Studio's craft side. We design and build assessment engines, from the psychometric model through to the reports and dashboards people actually read.

And unlike our distribution work, which is rooted in BeNeLux and DACH, bespoke work travels anywhere. Recent projects span from the Netherlands to South Africa.

What we build

Six things clients ask us for

Strategic Agility Dashboard

A two page verdict on leadership potential. Cognitive capacity, the nine facet agility profile, derailer risk and development priorities, written for the decision in front of you.

Group analytics and succession heatmaps

Pool level views of strength and risk across a team, a function or a whole organisation. Built for talent reviews and succession boards.

Custom competency match

Your competency framework, mapped against assessment scores. Candidates benchmarked against the role you are filling, not a generic model.

M&A and restructure diagnostics

Objective capability data when organisations merge or change shape. Who carries the new structure, where the gaps sit, and what the integration risk really is.

White label assessment services

A complete assessment product under your brand. We build and run the engine, you own the client relationship. See the case study below.

Narrative report engines

Deterministic reporting systems with every line authored by occupational psychologists. Same input, same output, every time. Built for EU AI Act and GDPR Article 22 scrutiny.

A complete assessment product, built for someone else's brand

The clearest way to show what bespoke means is to show you one. Here is a white label platform we designed, built and operate, sold under our client's name.

Agility Quotient (AQ)

For Hydrogen Group and Argyll Scott, international recruitment and executive search
White label · Live in market

The brief

Hydrogen Group and Argyll Scott wanted to offer clients an answer to a question every leadership team is asking: when the work keeps changing, who can grow with it? They needed a defensible learning agility product they could sell under their own brand, without building a psychometrics function in house.

What we built

  • A nine facet AQ engine based on the De Meuse learning agility framework, producing a single composite score and a facet level profile across cognitive, social and self domains.
  • The AQ Profiles system. Eight recognisable profile shapes, assigned deterministically from the facet grid, that turn nine scores into a pattern managers can use.
  • A three report suite from one data set: Development for the manager conversation, Selection for the hiring decision, Candidate for the individual. Every narrative line human authored.
  • A workforce dashboard that reads agility across teams and functions, showing where strength clusters and where risk concentrates.
  • The product site itself, with the science write-up, sample reports and a live dashboard demo.

Why it holds up

The engine is deterministic, with no generative AI in the data path. The same input produces the same output every time, and every claim in every report traces back to its source. That is what makes it ready for EU AI Act and GDPR Article 22 scrutiny, and it is the standard we build every engine to.

How an engagement runs

From question to working product

01

Scope

We define the decision your product needs to support, the audience, and the regulatory bar it has to clear.

02

Design

Psychometric model, scoring logic, profile system and report architecture, agreed on paper before anything is built.

03

Build

Engine, narrative library, reports, dashboards and any client facing site, built and tested against real anonymised data.

04

Run

We operate the engine behind your brand, or hand it over with training. Your choice, agreed at the start.
